An unexpected loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the left or right rear half-shaft assemblies, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 4, 2022. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N212351320.
Recall summaries are written by NHTSA from manufacturers' defect reports. Dates are when NHTSA received the report.

2022 Chevrolet Corvette crash-test ratings
We did not find NHTSA 5-Star Safety Ratings for the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette (checked Oct 26, 2026). NHTSA does not test every model every year; see nhtsa.gov/ratings.
